Wataalamu, Intestrat Launch Online Courses Ahead of East Africa Development Phase
With Uganda in the development phase and Kenya hoping to emerge from the exploration phase by the end of the year two firms Intestrat services and Wataalamu consultancy will by the end of the month introduce a 2-day course to the upstream oil and gas industry.
According to the trainers, the virtual course will enable stakeholders to gear up to see large projects undertaken in East Africa by providing a background to better understand them.
Further, the two believe the course will improve the understanding on the various disciplines making up the industry, the understanding the Life Cycle of the Oil Field and the overview of the status of the industry in East Africa. Further, participants will be made aware of the professional opportunities that will come with these large projects including the Tilenga, South Lokichar and East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) projects.
The courses are set to run starting 30th September and 1st October 2021 targets players in the East African upstream sector and will cover technical and non-technical aspects. Another 2-day course is set for the month of November between 25th and 26th.
