TANZANIA SEEKS TO REVIEW MODEL PRODUCTION SHARING AGREEMENT
The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) on behalf of the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA) is seeking a consultant that will study and review the model production sharing agreement that has been in place since 2013.
According to an expression of interest dated 15th February 2019 TPDC says the consultant will help study existing legal and fiscal terms to identify gaps for improvement of MPSA 2013 as well as develop a workable economical, fiscal and legal terms for the MPSA in accordance with the existing legal framework governing the oil and gas industry.
Further the contractor will advise the Government on a competitive MPSA, undertake Economic and Commercial Evaluation of the existing MPSA and advise the Government accordingly after evaluation of the performance of the proposed MPSA.
After a review of the expression of interest , a shortlist will be prepared, and shortlisted consultants will be invited to submit their proposals through a letter of invitation including specific terms of reference.
