SUDAN: Geological Research Authority Sign MoU with the Nile Valley University
The General Authority for Geological Research signed a memorandum of understanding with Nile Valley University in a number of geological fields in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Minerals Sector at the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Dr.Muhammad Yahya Abd al-Jalil, where the commission’s director general, geologist advisor to Suleiman Abdul Rahman, signed for the authority and its director and Professor Elham Sharif for Nile Valley University.
The memorandum comes within the framework of the distinguished positive relations between the two organizations and an effort to benefit from the material and human expertise available to the two parties.
The MoU also stipulated that the first party (the General Authority for Geological Research), through its various departments, request technical consultations from the second party (Nile Valley University) in the different geological fields, provided that the two parties agree later On the material value of each work or program separately, in addition to the agreement to provide Nile Valley University with opportunities for masters and doctoral students for the staff of the research body in the fields it specifies.
Meanwhile, the two parties confirmed that each party would nominate a delegate or a committee to coordinate and implement the provisions of this memorandum.
