OilNews Africa Named Most Informative Oil & Gas Digital Platform
UK’s Corporate Vision Magazine has for the second time named OilNews Kenya as the “Most Informative Oil & Gas Digital platform in Kenya” in 2020 the second award in a row after the same magazine awarded the website the “Best Oil and Gas Industry Publication in East Africa” in 2019.
In awarding the platform the judges recognized the important role the website has played in informing the world about developments in the oil and gas sector in Kenya and the region as a whole.
“This respected award symbolises the hard work and outstanding effort of all individuals and businesses who have helped form this demanding and dynamic industry. Our all-inclusive selection and judging process narrows down nominees in order to find the best market leaders from the past year.”
In response to the award OilNews Africa termed he recognition as a much needed motivation boost as the publications continues to highlight investment opportunities in this sector in the African continent.
“We are thrilled by this recognition which shows us that we have provided a platform that has transformed the way information in this sector is made available and consumed in the African continent. Prior to our platform investors in this sector wishing to explore opportunities in the region had to hire expensive research firms to provide information that we readily provide for free. Our local readers are also now more informed and are exploiting opportunities existing in this sector,” Samuel K. Mbote Managing Editor at OilNews Africa.
In 2014 OilNews Kenya was ranked among the best oil and gas websites in the world and ranked the best website from Africa, Asia and Latin America.
