MDT International sees Africa, South America as new growth areas
Global training provider for the oil and gas industry MDT International it sees Africa and South America as the new growth frontiers that need increased public awareness in the sector.
The organization provides training courses to oil and gas personnel all over the world has in 2014 delivered its public courses in Tanzania and Brazil with other countries targeted.
Its courses include practical training o financial, commercial and management topics.
According to MDT International managing director Drew Leitch the firm has already secured contracts to the value of £1million in the last three months to work across the two continents as well as Australia.
“We have an ambitious growth strategy and this achievement is testament to the hard work of all our staff. Some of these contracts build on relationships with existing clients and we are delighted they want to engage with us to provide them with long term training support,” he says.
MDT International works with the Scottish Development International, UK Trade and Investment and the local Chamber of Commerce which the company says has been instrumental in securing it global business.

MDT International provides various courses in the oil and gas industry touching on Introduction to the Oil & Gas Industry, courses on finance, accounting and audit, economics, risk and project management, contracts, purchasing and negotiations as well as communications, leadership and management.
