The average landed cost of imported Diesel increased by 2.68% from US$ 566.29 per ton in March 2015 to US$ 581.49 per ton in April 2015. Over the same period, the average landed cost of imported Kerosene increased by 3.11% from US$ 594.75 per ton in March 2015 to US$ 613.22 per ton in April 2015, while the average landed cost of imported Super Petrol increased by 5.17% from US$ 636.26 per ton in March 2015 to US$ 669.15 per ton in April 2015.
The Free On board (FOB) price of Murban crude oil lifted in April 2015 was posted at US$ 60.55 per barrel, an increase of 7.93% from US$ 56.10 per barrel in March 2015. Over the same period, the mean monthly US Dollar to Kenya Shilling exchange rate depreciated by 2.04% from KES 92.07 per US$ in March 2015 to KES 93.95 per US$ in April 2015.
